Recently I also found the results of several studies performed under the auspices of European Commission. One of the studies showed that different minorities living in Lithuania has different levels of trust to Lithuanians. The table below shows the trust levels to the majority ethnic group in several other CEE countries. Results shows that the highest degree of trust to Lithuanians has Belarusians:

This study also revealed some differences and similarities between Russians in Lithuania and Latvia. And the differences are were it is difficult to expect them.

This region still has dominating "philological ethnicity" paradigm which become more and more obsolete in Western Europe. E.g. how in opinion of Russians in Latvia and Lithuania is defined the notion "to be Russian":

Local Russians the same factors attribute to the definitions "to be Lithuanian" and "to be Latvian" but what's is interesting significantly less imporatnce in these definitions is attributed to the religion:

Interesting table: where in the opinion of Latvian and Lithuanian Russians are the biggest tensions in our societies. For me looked exotic that in Lithuania the biggest tension is between Roma community and Lithuanian society :)
